I never understood that obsession with electricity consumption.
If my "old" PS4 were to be turned on 24/7 (which it certainly is not) it would consume about 50 cents of electricity daily.
So a 25% saving is about 12 cents per day, or about €40 per year (if it ran all day and night). But since it's turned on about 2-3 hours daily at most, the new model would have saved me a shocking €4 every year.
Wow....
I bet the people that wrote the article unplug their refridgerator at night.
