OP, maybe you could explain exactly what you're referring to BC "helping"? If it's sales, the feature is not even live yet. If you're talking word of mouth, I think the buzz around it has been great.
There is a method of downplaying BC here in Chartz where people point to sales and say BC clearly doesn't matter. This thinking is extremely simple minded and misses the point of the feature. It was the most requested feature of people who either are already interested in it or already own the console. So sales are not going to magically pick up by millions in June because of a feature launching in November or so.
It's a fan service.
