Personally, I think they did it on purpose. People like exclusives, yes, but there are a handful of extremely popular franchises releasing this holiday season (Star Wars, Fallout 4, CoD) and if I had to guess, Sony simply wanted to give their exclusives a launch window that wasn't sandwhich'd between massive sellers, especially massive sellers they have ad deals over (Star Wars and CoD). For me, it doesn't make sense to launch Uncharted 4, at the same time as the above, because many gamers will have a limit on how many games they can buy at one time.
