Im sorry but your thread is dumb, Metroid was fine up until Other M in fact the entries were more consistent than Zelda. Other M was the first and only bad metroid. I will give Federation Force the benefit of the doubt until its released. So nothing needs to change they should definitely stop with 2D and focus on the 3D as they have already reached the magnum opus of 2D Metroid with Super Metroid. Focus on 3D FPA Metroid cause 1. Its a genre that is lacking on Nintendo systems 2. the FPA Metroids are more acclaimed than the 2D ones with the exception of Super Metroid. Nintendo already has enough 2D action games with indies filling that void. From a business standpoint its not financially viable it would be a silly idea for them to do it.
