It was one of my favourite games last year, it is a bit inconsistent sometimes but overall the game feels great to me, gameplay is great, the art design and music is hardcore porn for retro-lovers, the bosses are super cool and most of the stages are smart and fun. Others are just fustrating, but nothing is perfect.
