Because there's no way in hell that different people may want different things and have different feelings toward love, sex and relationships. Wanting more than one partner (for sex, love, etc.) is natural for some while sticking to a single person is natural for others. If there's something old and outdated here, it's the idea that everyone has to share the same point of view.
OT:
Can't say I feel bad for those who got their secrets exposed. They had it coming, really. I also believe that the true victims, the partners of these nitwits, deserved to know what was going on behind their backs. That doesn't mean that what the hackers did was right though.
