I had mixed feelings about 60fps after playing the beta. GoW1 plays a bit slower and clunkier than GoW3 and 60fps makes it feel unnaturally smooth at first. Some people in Gears forums are already complaining it's slower than original Gears, but I think this is because of framerate because UE plays quite similar to original.
In the end you get used to both framerates, I don't know which is ultimately better for Gears tho.
