Lately I have been playing the SEGA classics on the 3DS.

I dedicated July to beating Eccho the Dolphin, and also playing Smash Bros on the Wii U.

I liked it a lot.

This last month I beat Streets of Rage 2 on the 3DS with all four characters in normal and hard.

I liked it a lot, a truly 10/10 game

Now I am playing Rayman on the 3DS, the first one (I didnt know this, but it is a DSI Ware title, the first Earthwork Jim is also a DSI Ware title you can find in the 3DS)

I am having a great time, and it looks like another 10/10 game.

Currently I only use my Wii U to play like 2 or 3 hours of Smash Bros per week.

Once I 100% Rayman I will play Wario Land III, Zelda Seasons and Zelda Oracle on the 3DS.

The issue is I have Okami for Wii, Punch Out for Wii, Wind Waker HD, the Wonderful 101, and Bayonetta 1 (I did put like 100 hours in Bayo 2) waiting to be played and the Metroid Prime trilogy waiting in the shelf or the hard drive.

It kinda makes me feel guilty.

Although at least I am not suffereing from a drought.

I am also emulating an excellent SNES game, Ninja Warrios, which is the best console beat em up along with Streets of Rage 2. It is a hidden gem.

Anybody has this problem of finding it hard to motivate yourself to play modern games because there are so many excellent old games you never played?

I think the fact I can play many of this games on the 3DS is also an issue, if you work and dont have a lot of free time, handhelds are the best option.
