I'd give up on Wimote vs mouse for pointing accuracy. No mater how good you personally feel with the Wiimote is just technically isn't as accurate.
If you take away games and simply used each to test relfexes and time to pinpoint a highlighted area on a screen then on average a mouse is going to leave a Wiimote in the dust.
The Wiimote offers plenty a mouse doesn't for gameplay, but it doesn't offer better accuracy.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
