Not really. Most of these people who prefer Multiplayer arent really buying many games. With the people who play call of duty, thats all they really play and buy.
The people who prefer singleplayer are buying much more games. Look at mobas, there are more people playing than both Xbox 1 or PS4 have sold but does it generate as much money? not even close
