It kinda sucks - because most modern websites use inventory/reservation locking. The inventory is allocated the person putting the item in their cart for up to 15 minutes. If they take longer than that -- its released from allocation until the actual transaction occurs.

Wow I didn't know that. Well that is f'ed up. We were duped. I was waiting for that to go on sale and thought I hit the jackpot, until I saw it disappear from my cart. I was so upset that I gave myself a headache. Hopefully we'll be able to catch another sale like this involving the PSVita TV.
