I agree the Wii mote is far more then the PS3 controller when it comes to motion sensing, and I agree it's nowhere near the same thing as a mouse.
But I am sorry. In no way, shape, or form, is it more accurate than a mouse. I have a 2560x1600 display, and can hit any discreet pixel on in less than a second with a mouse. There is no way that can be done with a Wii Mote. It does not have the resolution to figure out 2,560 possible horizontal positions. If it did, you could not get it there in a second.
