I've done some heavy research to dig out the reason for resolutiongate.
Shocking fact: it is not the hardware power but Microsofts complete turnaround two years ago!
And here's the mathematical and undeniable proof:
1080-180=900
Simple as that and math is always true.
Now, if you think that putting online DRM, madatory Kinect etc. back to Xbox One would result in a tecnhically superior console, situation at Microsoft seems to have been that desperate that no one remembers which direction they turned around. Turning around again the wrong way could possibly result in 720p!
