XIII has its flaws but I like the game. XIII-2 have improvements but the story was not good. Haven't played LR and wanted to know about that time clock, in order to have a decent game.
I haven't played X-2 but it seems worse to me than XIII. X-2 = Charlie's Angels. XII - Star Wars (should have remove Vaan and Penelo).
These FF games have divided the fans and we expect a lot from FF, but we diverted to different gameplay and what battle systems we would like. FF XV i can see further hate = boy band, only Noctis is the playable character (right Lightning). Some FF fans wanted turn based but SE pushed the action style.
We RPG fans really need to play other JRPGs in order to avoid disappointments from the FF franchise, there are a lot of good RPGs out there that may suit other people's taste.
