Oblivion offered nothing new over Morrowind, IMO. There is nothing about Oblivion that is next gen, Morrowind was from the previous gen, but had a larger world, more NPC's, more conversation offerings, more side missions, etc. So in my opinion Oblivion is a step back in generational content, basically Oblivion is a smaller prettier Morrowind.
