i think people are overhyping these massive world games sometimes, i personally enjoy them quite alot, but open world games where you can go anywhere you want are not a strang thing to see anymore. It will be just another normal thing like 2D sidescrollers are now, but thankfully tropical freeze breathed some fresh air into the 2D platformers
