Not at all-- I don't care enough about the differences to keep my PC up to date. For things like TF2, Left4Dead, or any Valve game really, I want to play it on the PC but not so much other games. I know my work PC can handle Left4Dead and I'm sure my home laptop can handle it on low settings but for the most part I don't care enough to keep a PC up to date enough that can run things like Gears, Bioshock, Mass Effect, or whatever the newest game is that will need the uber setup that I could just as easily play on the 360 or PS3. |
Please, it takes very little maintenence to keep a PC playing multi-plat games. A new graphics card every couple years is more than enough to keep a PC running for an entire console generation. Multi-plats don't go up in System Reqs with time. Mass Effect has less system reqs than Bioshock.
