As title says, what unlogical puzzle have you last faced? Here's mine:
Darksiders II - City of the Dead - Getting pass the fence lowered by a lever.
The solution to the puzzle is not illogical but the limited solution to it is.
Problem:
You need to pull and hold a lever to lower a fence to get through the next area.
Pieces of the puzzle:
1. A radial lever that you need to pull counter clockwise and hold in order to lower the fence. Releasing the lever will make the lever go back to its original position and the fence will rise up again.
2. A block that you can push/pull and climb ontop of
3. Your ability to turn into stone and split into two. After you diable this ability, you will respawn to where the statue is - not where you moved the two characters (game didnt even explain this).
Solution:
Spoilers!
1. Pull the box near the fence, climb ontop of it, and turn into stone and to duplicate your character.
2. Move one of your dopple ganger to the radial dial and pull it. The fence is now lowered. Switch to your other doppleganger without letting go of the lever.
3. With the new doppleganger push the block past the fence. Disable the dopple-ganger ability and you should respawn where the stone is, ontop of the block past the fence you lowered.
PROBLEMS WITH THIS PUZZLE.
1.You cannnot push the stone yourself anytime in the game. Why?!!? But you can do it as long as you can place it on something pushable? So weight isn't an issue but semantics is? You play as DEATH who is buff as hell and murders bosses several times larger than himself. You even see him using his psychically large reaper hands to carry large ass keys, slam through large ornate doors, and place lamps on statues several feet higher than him. Why can't you push that statue only three feet taller than you with those hands?
2. You cannot place the box in a way to hold the lever in place. If you let go of the lever, expecting the box to hold it, the lever will simply push the box away and revert to its original position.. It also does this to your damn statue form. The amazingly unable to grab statue form that sounds like it cracks the floor its standing on when you create it. What the fuck. That lever isn't even that long.
