that is absolutely not true. I have been a huge fan of games on other platforms in the past. i currently am too, it just is on a much smaller scale. i thought the ps3 and 360 were way more exciting compared to their next gen counterparts.

sry but i cant see that based in your comments, and about your statement aboput the 7th gen consoles vs current gen, i completely disagree.... Come on man, lets get real, we didnt get this many "Goty" material at the beginning of the last gen so i dont know what are you talking about :/. The first 2 years of the current gen hasbeen better that the 7thgen counterpart and thats not an opinion, its a fact!

In 2007, we had Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, BioShock, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Super Mario Galaxy, Uncharted, COD 4, Super Paper Mario, WarioWare Smooth Moves and i loved every single one of those games and poured my heart into all of them. There were also a bunch of RPGs on the 360 at the time (Eterinal Sonata, Lost Oddyssey although that came out in early 2008, Blue Dragon, Elder Scrolls 4), and I love RPGs so that is just a personal thing for me.This shit was groundbreaking in 2007. Unfortunately, we don't have that kind of stuff happening in 2015.

Based on my comments and what you see, it doesn't really matter to me because I know my history with the PS3, 360, Wii and I loved all three of them. And the leaps and bounds that were being made in games at the time was just so exciting to me.

edit: in fact, 2007 was SO good that I remember Uncharted not even being a GOTY nominee from the biggest sites. That also goes to show what I said earlier about how biased the industry can be when it comes to GOTY contenders and how it is a giant popularity contest. In 2007, the biggest sites who named their GOTY, all the nominees were 360 and Wii games.
