The Witcher 3 was and is worthy adversary to Fallout 4 and we don't know if Fallout 4 is even going to be all that great to be honest.

Almost forgot about Witcher 3.  It will put up a fight as well, no doubt.  However, Fallout 4 taking a sizable chunk of the GOTY awards is a pretty safe bet.  Ever since Oblivion, Bethesda Game Studios RPGs have done it every time.  Oblivion, Fallout 3, and especially Skyrim.  That's why I was implying that it takes something like Zelda (another absurdly awarded franchise) or something extremely good to pose a threat.  Right now I would say the contenders are Bloodborne, Withcer 3, Metal Gear Solid V, and Fallout 4.  Aren't many games other than those I could see competing either because of uncertainty of quality (Halo 5 (NOT saying it will be bad) for example) or lack of reach (Xenoblade Chronicles X, for example).
