Sephiroth is great villian imo.

Most games your trying to save the world, and the villian keeps popping up throwing small mini bosses at you, giggleing and running off.

Sephiroth wasnt like that. You where chaseing him, hot on his tail (never really catching up to him).

All you would see of him was the wake of distruction he left in his path.

Also he completely mindf***s you a few times and tricks you, and he actually kills one of your party members (how often do you lose one of your playable party members permanently in a game?)
