"...graphics, SLI, 980 Ti..." "...and this, I think, sums up point of PC..." "...when I think PC gaming, I think overclocking..." - stopped watching after this.

Oh boy, this guy is complete moron. I've been gaming on computers for 30+ years, on PC for 20+, and for me, as well as most of my buddies, computer gaming, PC as its current form, was never about visuals, but about diversity of genres and once PC kicked in, mods. And last, but not least, ever since Amiga 500, about mouse/keyboard.

He had to cover the price point argument. How could be a coherent vs video if he Didn't?

He's saying it's pointless buying a pc that's costs as much as a ps4 because you might aswell get a ps4 (exclusives and shiz). Pc's are about building to your potential always wanting more and making the machine truly yours.

I'm old, as someone who's been gaming on computers for 30+ years, maybe I just don't understand this new breed of PC gamers that are buying PCs for graphics...since that's not what PC gaming was ever about. Sure, there was always tech things with PCs (and computers in general) that stood out vs consoles, but in its core, it was always about different experiences, not graphics.

So, if someone is really into PC gaming and fully understands what it's all about, it makes all the sense to buy even cheaper PC rig.
