Well if they feel the good PR of fixing it will up sales, and increase profits, they sure will fix it.
I wouldn't be surprised by a redesign by next year. And Mircorosoft could even give a discount for people trading in systems they would have sent for repair. Again, if they felt the PR would be worth it.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
