The average next gen game is like 45GB. Those are the sizes you're looking at for something like this. There is no way Nintendo is convincing 3rd parties to pay that kind of money per game just to port their 8th gen games to the NX. It sounds like it's just describing the standard functions of a memory card. You know, downloading something from the SD card to the system itself. If it was meant to read game data like a cartridge, the patent would have been far more explicite than that. |
