Yeah but, the stories start and end the same. It's the same three stories which I already know the ending to. I'm not buying a movie ticket to see a movie that I have already seen. I'm not buying a book for which I know the ending to.

If I want to buy a game, I buy it... beat it... then put it on a shelf. This way, if I want to play it again, I can. Buying the same exact game with the same exact plot and ending? Doesn't make any sense to me at all.

That's cool, and everyone does their own thing. But some people bought their favourite movies back in the days of VHS, then when DVD came out they re-bought on DVD, then when Blu-ray came out they re-bought the Blu-ray digital re-master (even though Blu-ray players can play DVDs and even play them at a slightly improved quality over DVD players). They did that because they want the best quality version of the movies they love and which every line and every scene is memorised. I'm not one of those people but I understand the sentiment and it makes sense to have the best version of your favourite things.

In any case, this collection isn't looking to all the people who merely liked Uncharted to re-buy, or to get into the 8th gen through this game collection. This collection, like TLOUR, is aimed at people who didn't have a PS3 last gen and who have never played Uncharted. And it's a very sound strategy to give people who already have a PS4, but never had PS3 (a large proportion of PS4 owners) 3 good games to play this holiday, and to tempt people who are still playing their 360 or Wii to make the move to PS4 as their first new gen console.
