| Gosh said: Is GTA IV Next-Gen gameplay, why is it getting all the 10 here and even in the part of the gameplay? |
Yes. It is. It’s all based on what you want to get out of next Gen. GTA4 gives you a very expansive game world, with an incredible breadth of detail. We can run around in a very large map that never needs to load.
Other games with Next Gen game play, would be Gears of War, Ratchet and Clank, and Uncharted. Those games offer experiences that could not be done in previous consoles.
I am no knocking the Wii, but the Wii is not innovative, the Wii controller is. If you had made the Wii controller for the Game Cube, every Wii game could be played on it. (With possibly some minor visual degradation).
Gears, Uncharted, R&C, and GTA4 could not be done on a PS2 or X-Box, or if you did manage to do so, you would lose a huge amount of the experience.
Different gamers find different things “Next Gen”, and I find what the PS3 and 360 do far more “Next Gen” then what the Wii does.
P.S. To all those that might not know by now, I own all three, so I am not talking from a point of ignorance, just from a point of personal preference.
