Steam Spy is as much reliable as Patcher. FF VII has been the most sold PSN game for weeks if not months. It has 33,370 evaluations in the US PS Store. Nearly 22 thousand in the Italian PS Store, which is a quite smaller market. I really doubt it sold more on Steam than on PSN.

You mean on the European PS Store, which is actually a bigger market than the US (at least where PlayStation is concerned).

I know Steam Spy isn't particularly reliable, that's why I said that was the maximum figure and it could well be lower meaning the PSN figure would be higher.

There isn't really a (common) European PS Store. What I buy in the Italian store is still for sell in the UK Store. And vice-versa. Also all European PS+ subscriptions are tied to the Country. And some DLCs may not be even compatible.

Let me check the UK numbers. Hmm.. 21764, like in the Italian store. Ok, you have a point: the evaluations must be associated to the game's ID number, then. Which should be the same for FF VII in Europe (if it was only in English. I don't remember).

GTA V for PS3 indeed has the same number of evaluations in both UK and Italy as well: above 24K. For PS4, which I've read it had quite an high number of digital downloads, it's indeed twice that (48K). The evaluations should be for digital only version. Prototype 2 instead, which in Italy only has the Italian/Spanish languages (thus it must have different ID) has a different number of evaluations. Actually the two versions of Protoype 2 Gold edition do, since Protoype 2 in the UK Store is even missing.

Back to FF VII then we have to add.. Japan. :)
