It's easier to educate people about video games being a lot more benign than what they think than it is to make someone like Trump less bigotted. So their respective shortcomings are not equally bad.
OTOH, Trump might just be playing to the crowd and not really be as bigotted as he's pretending to be. Whereas Hilary's disdain for video games is probably not being put on for cynical expediency.
On the other other hand, if Trump is feigning bigotry to play to the crowd he needs for support, that could be said to be bigger character flaw than being an actual bigot, and certainly a bigger character flaw than genuinely, though ignorantly, hating video games.
