Here is the funny part - When  Kojima was fired and his team disbanded, everybody said, "I dont want SH is Kojima wont behind it, it wont be the same without his vision ", so KONAMI did just that. Kojima's name attached to the project was what all hype was about and without him and his ideas, was it worth Konami  continuing something that was not going live up to expectations set by somebody not on the project. Its like finishing a painthing, movie, or sculpture without any knowing any of the intentions or vision from the starter.KONAMI is not wrong for cancelling Silent Hills.

Your right, the consumer is what decides a business future, so why is it a problem that KONAMI focus on mobile when it pulls 20 mill a month or whatever they decide to decorate their gambling toys with?

Just want to point something out about the mistaken mobile dream. Those millions it makes, are all majorly concentrated in justa few games. That is why its called the mobile bubble. The dream is a lie. How could it ever work out when you are trying to sell multiple games to people who arent gamers. Its the same problem the Wii had. These people only buy/invest in a game or two. There isnt any magical market of opportunity there. There is also a market saturation with every little and bigcompany trying to pursue this magical pot at the end of the rainbow.

Definitely, but currently, KONAMI got the magic pot. Not gonna mad at em for it.
