I was very much against ad blockers until this summer. For some reason, the ads on VGChartz got so out of control that it was almost impossible to read any page here on my phone or tablet, because the ads were constantly resizing my screen, and when I would click to try to close one of those ads, I'd either accidentally click into the ad, cause it to open, or click completely different ad that was sitting right behind it or where the screen resized to next. Also, on my PC, the ads were starting to make my browser completely lockup and crash all the time.
So yeah, I do use Adblock. I do cut out ads from sites now and cost those sites money that most of them deserve. And it's all completely due to this singular site. Thank you, VGChartz, for ruining my experience online so much that I had to change my morals about ad revenue completely. Thank you, VGChartz, for all of the money you are now costing all of the other sites that I visit, too. And for what? You don't even update your charts anymore, so I don't even know the purpose of this site now.
At least it's all worth it so I can get those weekly charts, right?
