Is there such a thing as too much graphics? Probably not, but I got myself a taste of what's in store for Horizon Zero Dawn's graphics, and they're beautiful. But will Horizon Zero Dawn follow in this game's footsteps? I sure hope not!

Very good review (a little bit late though! ;) ). Summed up my feelings on the game. The graphics are fantastic for a launch game and are still impressive even today. Past that however, I found the MP to be 'samey' and not very fun and the single player... well... I actually liked the slower paced moments like walking throug a space station on your own trying to find stuff, felt like a Sci-Fi movie. For the most part though, as you point out, the story (and game in general) was uninspiring. For a launch game I do think it is quite impressive however and the engine will certainly be put to go use in Horizon (hopefully!)

I'm hoping that since Horizon Zero Dawn doesn't require major resources in the graphics engine (though asset creation could still take awhile), the additional resources will go into overall presentation values and perhaps more time spent refining story delivery!
