I think there's something people could learn from this though, a lot of people still claim their 'predictions' as absolute. Doing that just sets you up to look like an idiot if it doesn't happen. Instead people should be more ambiguous, don't say console x WILL sell more than y, instead say console x will LIKELY sell more than y.
