Exactly as I am perceiving it.  Which, technically, is something only they would offer.  With games like SFV and Rocket League I am pretty sure I would have to buy it twice, and then I doubt that the actual progress would carry for me.  I think I just get to play with users on both platforms.

Cross-buy games within the PS ecosystem do that don't they? Cloud saves and all that. Requires a PSN+ account though.
