Maybe you just forgot what you said? Idk.I understand you were just trying to point out hypocrisy in console warz, but your example was just weak.

Your point about PS3 being BC with PS2 when people were screaming "no gamez!1" doesn't mean anything when for most of those people, PS3 wasn't BC. That's why BC games didn't count last gen. You can't count something if 90% of the userbase can't use it. Such is the slippery slope you experience when companies take features away. Direct any further confusion towards Sony, please.

I know exactly what I said and my argument was not weak and here is why:

Backwards compatibility was a feature that was released at the beginning of the PS3 era.  Many would argue that this is the best time for backwards compatiblity to be introduced because it offers consumers the ability to upgrade without the worry of not playing old/unfinished games, while providing the option to purchase the new games.

The BC on the PS3 provided the library of the PS2, the largest game library out of any home or handheld gaming device, coupled with the PS1 library.

When did people claim that PS3 got no gaemz? At the beginning or the end of the console generation?

Of course, it was at the beginning, which was the exact time that the PS3 had BC.  I have seen people on these forums claim that "got no gaemz" doesn't actually mean that it doesn't have any games, but rather "no games that I want to play".  Of course this doesn't hold true because the PS2 game library was very diverse and appealed to everyone, not to mention the diverse lineup of the PS1 games.

Therefore, the newly released PS3 games are the "got no gaemz = no games that I want to play" instead of all of the BC games.  From that, it is very easy to infer that people discredited those BC games as actual PS3 games.

These instances occured before the removal of the BC feature on the PS3, which is why your point has nothing to do with the point I was making.  The fact of the matter is that people discredited these BC games on the PS3, as I have shown, and therefore should not be included now.
