It's certainly good for the devs but what does that say about the device itself? Other manufacturers are still working with prototypes and alpha devices while Sony got it all figured out? Nothing against Sony but I doubt they're the gods of VR and have mastered it before everyone else.

So my conclusion would be that there is some fault with it and/or that they cut more or less important corners to get it ready before everyone else.

So the manufacturer that brings it first to market is because it's obviously been rushed? Cant be the first for any other reason?

Would you have said the same thing about the Vive or Occulus?

Calm down, it's just my concern.

And yes, I am less concerned for OR or Vive. They might have issues as well but those will probably faster to come by due to the openness of the platform.

I care about VR and I want it to thrive. That means a bad first impression could be the end of it. Sony's platform is by default the one that is aimed at the mainstream market and if that is a subpar experience then it will have a lasting impact on everyone else.

Best read my comment as "Better not screw this up Sony!"
