And I'm telling you it doesn't mean much when xb360 best years were at the second half. xb1 has nothing that will give that kind of boost at the second half. When you look at the markeshare proportion last gen compare to this gen, you know right away that xb1 won't beat xb360 unless you think that xb1 has a chance at europe which is almost impossible. if ps3 sold better in europe than xb360 even though it launched 1 year and half later at 200 euros more expensive and against the kinect at the second half, you know that in this gen, xb1 has no chance whatsoever to regain that marketshare that it once had. Considering the markeshare lost in europe and how ps4 is competing against xb1 in america (last gen it was a no contest), then you can conclude that xb1 chances selling better than 360 is very low. " knowing microsoft they will buy out games and such to keep the momentum up". I wouldn't be so sure about that considering they are more focus in first party games and even if that's true, it hasn't worked for them in the past, I don't see why it would work now. |
Im sorry, are you a psychic? Xbox one can have many things going for them in the second half. As it stands Xbox One is proving itself more and more. They will do what it takes. They already bought Gears of war and Minecraft. Maybe they will buy more games or push holo lens more. Hell, they can have blu ray less xbox one and sell it for $100 dollars. Consoles sales always go up towards the middle and end because it is when they are the cheapest and have the biggest games coming out.
