Aren't there several small projectors available these days? If you want to do this for whatever reason, it's not like it hasn't been possible for a while now.

I don't really get the point of having a "semi-portable" console in your house. I have zero urge to pick up the big, heavy PS4 and carry it around my house just so I can project an image in the ... kitchen? Some other bedroom? What's the point? I have a nice TV with a nice comfy couch like 99% of people in my living room. No desire to go elsewhere in my home to play. Wii U kinda has the same issue, it's a solution to a problem that no one was asking for.

It's not 1955 anymore, if someone wants to watch a TV show which someone else wants to play a video game or watch the basketball game, most households have 2, actually more like 3+ TV sets.

Those are SD DLP, bulb, they are not HD and they are not Laser. And this would be more about you go on a trip you would be able to have everything pretty much in one device.

And I'n some house holds there is or may be plenty of TV's, but in some place's they may not have more than one TV, this gives you the ability of having a 43" to 120" HD TV included into a smartphone for a low price of if you had to buy them separate. Its like adding an FM radio chip to smartphones. It may not be common now but for later on, people that go camping, or who may need a projector at work this also would include TV function as well.

Its like you would not have to use this projector functionality unless you need them, but for a business meetings having a HD pico projector right in you phone would be quite useful. Added TV and other benefits would just be a bonus.

Also it could project a virtual keyboard and mouse on the table by position of the laser down instead of to a wall, so you could use it instead of a projected screen to that of a slide mouse &keyboard combo on the surface of a table!
