It's a niche product. You need to sit in almost total darkness to get a decent size picture, otherwise you might as well watch on your phone screen which has a higher resolution too. Plus it's not a living room experience without dedicated 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound :)
It will sell as a cool gimmick, something to show off at parties, fun on camping trips.
