No, I actually have real evidence. It might be surprising, but the author of the Amazon threads pay rather close attention to the Amazon charts, and there was at least one item that never once charted above the PS4 standalone in the hourlies, but still managed to chart in the monthly while the PS4 standalone was absent, namely the PS4 vertical stand (http://www.amazon.com/PS4-Vertical-Stand-Cooling-PlayStation-4/dp/B00TEDK8FQ/ref=zg_bsar_videogames_99 ). Now, obviously, had the charts been functioning properly like you claim, then that couldn't have happened, which tells me that the monthly charts weren't functioning properly.

that's further proof, that the hourly is no idication to monthly ;) i ask for the proof why this was broken before, but is fixxed now. what is different now? ps4 is in the monthly? and when it will be out of top 100 is it broken again? ps4 no game sku could be # 115 - 150 all the time..
thehourly is still no actual sales ranking. It's an algorithm that takes actual sales, projected sales, and advertising into account and makes a top 100 list

That still does not discount what Teeqoz has said, prinz. Let me break it down to make it easier for you:
- Product A constantly sells more than Product B on the hourlies
- Product B is in the monthly charts, but Product A is not
There is a gaping inconsistency because we know for sure that Product A has sold more than Product B for the month based on the hourly chart observations. Therefore, it is logical to conclude that there is something wrong with the Amazon system.
