Don't worry, the "I'm 17 so I'm too cool for Nintendo" phase can pass in as few as 2 or 3 years. But if you're one of the unlucky ones, it might take 10 years before you come back. In your generation or 2 off, playing your same old GTAs and FFs over and over, Nintendo will come out with a new revolutionary Mario or Zelda that will blow your mind, change the world of gaming for the billionth time, and suck you back in.
It is your destiny.
