We are gamers. We buy a console because it has, or at least we EXPECT it to have the games that we want to play. At the end of the day, that's why we do what we do and love our little plastic boxes. With the launch of consoles like the 3DO, Sega CD, and CD-i, the line between "Game Console" and "Entertainment Device" began to blur. Suddenly our gaming devices could play music, movies, and over time, eventually evolved into what we have today. Without a thought, we fire up our PS4 to watch a Blu Ray movie. We use our Wii U browse the internet. We fire up Netflix on our Xbox One. Our gaming consoles have become so much more.
The purpose of this thread is to compile a list of all of the features that each console has. It will be a statement of fact with some miscellaneous comments thrown in at the very end. That's where you come in. I own all of the consoles in the title and I've spent extensive time with each of them. At the end of the day, even though I have my bias, I feel that I love them all. Still, I haven't explored every feature. In the comments, post the features that your favorite console has and I'll add them to their respective description.
When all is said and done, we shoul d have a full list of what each console is capable of. Once again, it's time for the main event Fatal Four-Way. Let's do this!
