Shareplay is nice in theory and I thought it would be a top feature but it never works for me or my friends. I've tried it with a solid 15 or 20 people and it never works. And the rare time it does work it lags out in less than a minute. I still haven't found anyone that has legitimately gotten it to work. So instead of a top feature it's probably my most disappointing feature. The play as you download is also available on the X1, and since everything downloads 10 times faster on the X1 I'd say it's even better on the X1.
My favorite ps4 feature is probably the free psn games. 4 or 5 games a month is solid. And probably the only reason I haven't traded in my ps4.
The best feature is sadly external HD support. The 500gb garbage they give you to start is already full on both consoles. I connected a 4tb HD to my X1 and after a few seconds I had an additional 4tb of storage. The ps4 won't allow me to do that and for that reason I haven't bought a PS4 game in months. I have about 20gb left and I'll use that for the free psn games. I can't buy another game until they allow external HD support. Not that there is any good games coming to ps4 anytime soon (or really at all this year) so it's not really that big of a deal right now. This obviously isn't a new feature but with the size of games it has become really important this gen.
These features mean nothing If Sony can't give me external HD support and fix the complete trash that is PSN connectivity.
