A preview report came out last week and Sony is expected to lose about $1.12 billion for the FY. No word on what the Q4 numbers were like yet.
Q1($-237 million) + Q2($-841 million) + Q3(x) + Q4(z) = FY($-1.12 billion) (Q1+Q2[$-1.078 billion]) + (Q3+Q4(x+z) = FY($-1.12 billion) ($-1.078 billion) + ($-1.12 billion) =$-42 million(x+z) Sony must ahve still lost about ~$42 million during Q3 and Q4 and since you claimed they made profit in Q3, Q4 must have negated that profit by ~$42 million.

I hate to be nitpicky, but the third line should read:
($-1.078 billion) - ($-1.12 billion) =$-42 million(x+z) (not a plus, a minus), otherwise, the total comes out to -2 billion or so.
