Alan Wake was developed as an Xbox360 only game, but when the game didn't meet the expectations, they were able to port it to PC. That's what could happen with those games.
But I doubt they'll bring Gears or Halo to PC. After all, only the first Gears game was launched on PC, and only the two first Halo games did it, and the second one only did it to promote Vista and DX10.
