I played the first episode, and I like some aspects of it, but dislike the american high-school setting. Are the next episodes more focused on the main story (the girl dissapearance) or in the character popularity, which I didn't care about? XDD

Yes the plot advances a lot, although episode 5 is going to have to answer nearly everything since there's been a lot of buildup. Episode 4 makes the most headway in Rachel's disappearance.

Also I like the high school setting. That plus the supernatural elements, the mystery, apocalypse scenario, even a blue butterfly among other things reminds me of the Persona games. Just with no combat. Not a bad game to tide you over a bit till Persona 5 :P

I don't know why, I like a lot more the Japanese high-school setting than the American XDDDD. But that's personal taste. I also love persona games, 4 is one of my favourites JRPGs ever.

But, yeah, what I liked about Life is Strange were the supernatural elements, the mistery around that girl and meddling with time is a cool gameplay mechanic. And I'm definitely interested in how the relationship with you childhood friend will evolve in these chapters. The only grip is that high-school setting, but I will definitely play it because I found the main story interesting.
