Idk, I see a difference in a movie released before BR having a re-release to take advantage of technology way past its time, versus a "remaster" of a game that came out 1-3 years ago on a previous gen platform.

If Sony were remastering PS1/2 games, it would be a different story for me.

Also, whether it's true or not, people make the assumption that Sony releasing God of War 3 Remastered meant development time and support were taken off other games. And the library of a game console is a fraction of the library of movies. If I want a new game and see a bunch of remasters, that sucks. If I want a new BR to watch, there is no end to the stuff I have never seen. Also, price.

Movies taking advantage of new technology opens up a completely new experience. Same with music releasing on better formats and/or being remastered. What do you really gain from playing through the Uncharted franchise again on PS4? A resolution boost and a higher frame rate. Or Halo MCC for that matter.
