So, hmmm. You know exactly my thoughts on the Wii U library, thus I have to looks elsewhere. Recently bought many retro games like DQIV-V-VI, Chrono Trigger and Earthbound, but I also want new games.

I've been interested for the first time in another console not made by Nintendo (it's your fault Nintendo). PS4 seems like the one I could choose. These are the games I'm interested, released or coming in the future:

Witcher 3

DarkSouls II

Bloodborne

DarkSouls III

Mass Effect 4

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy X-X2 HD

Final Fantasy XV

Dragon Quest Xi

Is it worth? Are there other games I should look for? Not that I'm going to buy now, but maybe at the end of the year if a price cut happens.

Those are the only 3 games you can play right now. Is that enough to buy a PS4 that is still selling at the launch price? I would say no. Especially as never having owned a non-Nintendo console all 3 of those games are a bit of a risk and there's no guarantee you'll like any of them.

I'm a one console per generation person, so matter how good looking the library of the other consoles once I make my decision that's it, no second guessing, no buyer's remorse. Fortunately, for my tastes, the PS console for the generation has had the best library, complimented by a handful of PC games. But others have a different view on these things which is fine. However, before you spend that kind of money you want some certainties about the cost/benefit of buying it. If you can wait up to a year then you will definitely be able to buy PS4 $50 cheaper, and potentially $100 cheaper. At a lower price you might find yourself in a better cost/benefit position. You may also find yourself anticipating some Wii U games that will soon be released completely negating any desire to get a second console.
