University only costs €600 a year in my country. Cheap as hell! People in difficult financial situations can apply for a scholarship.

We are talking about the United States of America and its populous, not Belgium.

Also a Master's Degree has a high opportunity cost to acheive. For each year you are trying to achieve your Master's you could've been working and making $40,000 /yr + or increasing your job opportunities with experience.
