@bold - Which is why I am not taking his review that seriously.  On top of that, he was watching someone else play a demo and not the full game.  

I actually thought this game looked excellent and provided a great story with interesting gameplay.  My only concern are the time powers that were displayed in the Gamescom Conference demo.  To me, it seemed like those powers provided an 'easy mode' for defeating those enemies.  Hopefully there will be restrictions/consquences when using these power-ups.  Otherwise, players will simply walk through this game from start to finish.

Maybe these powers will have some drawbacks to using them. I'm sure Remedy won't let the game be that easy for us. I agree that I thought this game looked absolutely stunning. I also liked the way it played as well. I'm sure the framerate will increase as well. The gameplay one we saw had many drops. Then again, it's a pre-alpha build, right?!
