The move needs it, so it may be to use with it? I don't see why Morpheus itself needs the camera.

They're there so the camera can track your exact position in space. That's the reason the Dualshock has the lightbar too. Tearaway doesn't require the lightbar because it's just using the motion sensors in the Dualshock and doesn't require pinpoint accuracy.

I thought this was common knowledge. Clearly Sony needs to make it much clearer. In fact I think I was wrong when I said 'some' games require it. I think it's 'all' games require it.

I'd be interested to find out how you thought it would work? For instance, how would the game know you were looking behind you?
